Today is also Elijah's 7 month birthday!! So in honor of his birthday we went to the Dr. Which we almost missed because I pressed snooze on my phone (yes, it's the only alarm clock I have) and it didn't go off again.
I woke up at 9:22 and were supposed to be there at 9:25... good thing they are VERY nice and that we live a mile away!! We got there 10 minutes later and didn't miss the appointment!! It wouldn't have been so bad except I didn't get to bed until 5am this morning because Elijah decided to throw up all over our bed, himself, and me at 3:30 and then exploded a diaper at the same time, so I just gave up and put him in the tub!!
Elijah's current stats:
--19lb 12 1/2 ounces (though I think this is skewed since he hasn't been eating much and is sort of dehydrated right now from the throwing up!!)
--His head is 45cm in circumfrence
And the best stat of all???
--He's 28 inches long. That's right-- 28 inches!! HE grew 6 inches in 2 months! HOLY COW!!!!
Elijah has been sick- runny nose, horrile cough, high fever, runny eyes, and overall just miserable. He wants to be held 24/7. Luckily Papa Roger took the week off to baby sit Elijah because Grandma Laura had to work. Papa and Elijah have had MANY hours of bonding time in the Lazy Boy this week!! Papa calls it "secret plan" time, but Elijah would probably call it a dream come true to just lay around all day! (That is if Elijah could talk and say ANYTHING!!)
I am PRETTY sure that he can say "mama." I've thought I've heard it a few times when he's crying, but I thought it was just wishful thinking. BUT Grandma Mary thought she heard it to. So I'm just going to say it's official and that Elijah's first word was Mama. As we all knew it would be. Because I am his favorite. Always and forever. :) haha.

awww!!! He's going to have some kind of party on his real birthday, I'm guessing :-) Did I tell you that he said "Aunt Jill, I love you!" when I was babysitting??? Lol!
