Firsts...

Yesterday was Elijah's first thanksgiving, it was also the first time it snowed here!! Thanksgiving really isn't the same without family. It's been a long time since i've been able to be at home for thanksgiving with the rest of the family and it's weird because i never really cared about holidays before, but ever since I started dating matt, and now since we've started our own family, it really is hard being away on the holidays. I try not to think about the fun that they are all having with out me. (I mean how much fun COULD they be having without me?? I mean come on... i am the life of the party afterall!! hahahahha just kidding-- we all know that's not true :)

At least this year for christmas we should be able to be there. Last year stunk having to be away for christmas-- it was the first time i wasn't home with the rest of them, and it was NOT fun. I mean I DID get to go to work with matt and make 200 pizzas for the CMU marching band, and as fun as that all was... i'd rather be at home in my PJ's stuffing myself on my mom's AWESOME cooking and just enjoying my family.

I went to my dr on tuesday, and it seems that my blood pressure issues aren't resolving itself as quickly as it's supposed to. So for now i'm still on my meds (I temporarily decided I was going to stop taking them because they "weren't helping..." that lasted 3 missed dosages until my bp shot up to 160/101.... that's no good :) so I started taking them again)

Elijah's blood tests all came back NORMAL!! So we can breathe a sigh of relief for that!

It's been awhile since my last post but nothing really happened... just eat, sleep (maybe) change some diapers... and reapeat... so this post will be mostly pictures.

... this pretty much speaks for itself :) It's his first thanksgiving!!
