Yesterday was Matt and My 2 year anniversary. It was a crazy day-- seemed a lot like the day we got married-- it was really nice in the morning, and then later it got really stormy and rainy... reminded me of the time my veil blew into Houghton Lake ;)
Matt had to work, but came home around lunchtime to let me take a nap, so all three of us napped for a bit, then he went back to work. When he got home we cooked dinner-- appetizers and all!! It was really nice just to spend time as a FAMILY..
WOW... Family.. that's a word that is really hard to get used to! It's been 15 days since Elijah was born and it's been a HUGE adjustment going from being just Matt and I as husband and wife to all of us as a family.
next week I have to register to take classes again.. i'm not sure I am ready to think about going back to school. School is hard enough, much less now with a newborn baby! Ugh. Only 5 more semesters-- that's what i keep telling myself.
